Technology of MDF production

    Fibreboard of dry continuous method of production is manufactured of hardwood and softwood with addition of binders, smooth on two sides, which makes it possible to apply various coatings on both sides. The dimensions and basic physical and mechanical properties meet the requirements of TU BY 600012401.003-2005.
   Boards are available in two grades: TSN-30 and TSN-40 and are used in furniture production, packaging (except for the packaging of products);
   The raw material is technological chips of softwoods and hardwoods, obtained from sawmill, as well as from grinding wood.
   Furthermore, it is sorted by a plant of REVIBRALL type and sorter SCH (Sorting of Chips) - 120 and enters the refiner of company «Pallmann» of mark «PR42» for grinding into wood fiber.Preparation and addition of a binder (UFLT (urea formaldehyde low-toxicity) resins are used for cooking a binder) and hardener is carried out in special mixers and dozing devices, and is mixed with fiber.
   The next step is drying of wood-fiber mass which is carried out in a tube dryer to get  a moisture content of 6-12%. As a drying agent flue gases are used, mixed with cold air.
The formation of wood-fiber mat is performed in the air in one forming chamber.
   Pressing is carried out in a continuous press of calandar type «Auma-30P" of company «Berstorff».Cutting of the board is performed along the length and width according to the specification. The main dimensions of manufactured boards are the following: 2440x1220; 2440x830; 2440x1845; 2440x2050; 2500x1230. Thickness: 2.5, 3.0, 3.2, 3.6.
   Ready-made fiberboards are sorted and stacked in packs 100-200 pieces/each, depending on the thickness of the board.
